CHERY BLOCKBUSTER TEST DRIVE EVENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- These Terms and Conditions govern the Chery Blockbuster Test Drive Event (Promotion). Participation in the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
- The Promotion commences on 15/08/2025 at 9:00am AEST and closes on 17/08/2025 at 5:00pm AEST (Promotion Period). Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over who hold a valid driver’s license (Entrant).
- Entrants who complete a test drive of an Eligible Vehicle at an authorised Chery dealer in Australia during the Promotion Period will, subject to these Terms and Conditions, be eligible to receive one Hoyts family movie pass (4 adults), valued at $110.00 (Movie Pass).
- An Eligible Vehicle includes the Chery Tiggo 4 Hybrid, Chery Tiggo 7 Super Hybrid, Chery Tiggo 8 Super Hybrid, and Chery E5.
- To receive the Movie Pass, the Entrant must test drive an Eligible Vehicle at an authorised Chery Dealer during the Promotion Period and provide their personal information following the test drive to the dealer, including full name, email address, and phone number, so that a form can be submitted by the dealer on the Entrant’s behalf.
- Once the form is completed, the Movie Pass will be issued by the Promoter to the Entrant via email within seven days, subject to verification and compliance with these Terms and Conditions. Only one Movie Pass will be issued per Entrant, regardless of the number of test drives completed.
- The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the Promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Employees of the Promoter, participating dealers, and associated agencies, as well as their immediate family members, are ineligible to enter. Immediate family includes spouse (including de facto), parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses.
- The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age, and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion.
- Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter is not responsible for any non-delivery of the Movie Pass due to incorrect details being supplied.
- In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of an Entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the Entrant.
- Any costs associated with redeeming the Movie Pass, including travel to and from a cinema, are the responsibility of the recipient. Unused balances will not be awarded as cash. Use of the Movie Pass is subject to the terms and conditions of the issuing company.
- Hoyts Corporation Pty Ltd is the issuer of the Movie Pass but is not responsible for the conduct of the Promotion, the prize, or its fulfilment. The issuer is responsible only for fulfilling the Movie Pass according to its own terms and conditions. - If the Movie Pass becomes unavailable, or a Hoyts cinema is not located in the local proximity of a Dealer, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute it with a similar prize of equivalent value.
- Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
- Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image, and/or voice (including photographs, film, and/or recordings) for promotional purposes in any media, in perpetuity, without compensation, in connection with the Promotion and the Promoter’s broader marketing activities.
- If the Promotion is interfered with or cannot be conducted as reasonably anticipated due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant and/or to modify, suspend, or cancel the Promotion, subject to any relevant regulatory requirements.
- Except for liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter and its officers, employees, and agents exclude all liability for any personal injury, or any loss or damage (including indirect, special, or consequential loss) arising in any way out of the Promotion. This includes but is not limited to technical issues or equipment malfunctions, unauthorised access or third-party interference, late, lost, altered, damaged, or misdirected entries, variations in prize value, tax liabilities, and use or misuse of the prize.
- The Promoter collects personal information for the purposes of administering the Promotion and may disclose it to third parties and regulatory authorities, in accordance with its Privacy Policy. By entering, Entrants consent to the use of their personal information for future promotional, marketing, and publicity purposes, unless otherwise advised. Entrants may contact the Promoter to access, update, or correct their personal information. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
